| Castle Lodge is located near to the town of Keswick. From the centre follow the signs for Borrowdale. On the way down the valley you pass Derwentwater overlooked by Cat Bells, Grange Bridge, the village of Rosthwaite. Just after Rosthwaite, opposite the turning to Stonethwaite, there is a small lane which leads to our self catering cottage which is situated on your right. To your right is a simplified map showing our location and also various nearby pubs and restaurants. Each has its own unique setting, menu and atmosphere. All establishments are within 15 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive!) of Castle Lodge most of which have restaurants or serve pub meals, and there are local Lakeland bars serving traditional ales.
